Growing Voices wants to encourage those with a passion and interest in global issues to volunteer in community-based projects around the world.  All GV volunteer projects do not charge volunteer fees however, volunteers are responsible for all personal costs as we are unable to finance volunteering efforts.  Our website provides informational resources to support you along your journey and a direct link to those in need of assistance.



A travel guide featured on our website recommends low-cost lodging, transportation, recreation and provisions based on the time we traveled to the specific region. Our suggestions are meant to promote local businesses as well as contribute to an authentic experience for the volunteer. Ultimately, we hope to encourage a volunteer experience founded on cultural exchanges in which volunteers and locals learn from each other.

Our volunteer program will link volunteers to communities through a direct line of communication using an on-line forum. Through the forum, we will encourage volunteers to stay in communication with local advocates to better understand the specific needs of their communities. In addition, the forum will provide a platform for travelers to share past volunteer experiences, in the hopes of inspiring future volunteers.
